A full desktop experience. A faster path to recovery.

20 VMs / ~20 min

THE CHALLENGE

Users working from laptops experienced slow performance and internet-related interruptions that disrupted everyday work. Troubleshooting individual devices took time, while keeping desktop environments consistent and security patches current added to the maintenance effort.

THE SOLUTION

We implemented an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment with seamless sign-in and persistent user profiles, giving users a full desktop experience in Azure. We maintained a golden image as the standard desktop configuration and fallback for redeploying the environment, making desktop maintenance and security patching more consistent.

THE OUTCOME

Users experienced a smooth desktop environment without the lag and recurring issues they had previously encountered. The golden-image approach reduced troubleshooting and maintenance effort and supported consistent security patching. As a fallback, the team could redeploy 20 Azure VMs in approximately 20 minutes.

Control access. Keep work data within its boundaries.

Client Engagement

THE CHALLENGE

The company needed stronger controls over access to its resources and how information could be copied from work environments. Access protection alone did not address the need to restrict copying and pasting company data outside approved boundaries.

THE SOLUTION

We applied Conditional Access policies to protect company resources and implemented DLP controls to restrict copying and pasting work data. Together, these measures addressed both access to resources and the movement of information from the protected work environment.

THE OUTCOME

Company resources were protected by access policies, and copy-and-paste actions involving work data were restricted within the configured scope. The company gained more control over how staff accessed resources and moved information, with enforceable boundaries rather than relying only on user guidance.

Managed devices in. Compromised devices isolated.

Client Engagement

THE CHALLENGE

The company needed to tighten access to its data across managed and unmanaged devices. It also needed a defined response when a device showed signs of compromise, so a security concern could be contained rather than leaving the device connected to the wider network.

THE SOLUTION

We restricted access to company data to managed devices and configured security rules for isolating compromised devices from the network. The work connected device management, access restrictions and incident containment so device security was part of how company resources were protected.

THE OUTCOME

Unmanaged devices were prevented from accessing company data within the configured scope. Compromised devices could be isolated under the established security rules, giving the company a clearer containment response and tighter control over which endpoints could access its information.
